The Paris Air Show is back in 2023 for a record-breaking edition.
The “Earth’s meeting place for aviation professionals” will indeed take place this year! After a four-year hiatus, the International Paris Air Show (SIAE), also known as the Paris Air Show, will hold its 54th edition from June 19 to 25, 2023.

The International Paris Air Show (SIAE) will be holding its very first post-Covid event in 2023 after the 2021 edition was cancelled because of health uncertainties that would have posed a potentially fatal financial risk for the event, as Gilles Fournier, CEO of the SIAE, explained to L’Usine Nouvelle. “Maintaining the event could have led us to disaster and signalled the death of the company,” he lamented.
Four years on, the Paris Air Show has lost none of its superb appeal, and with good reason: by November 2022, the management team had announced that it had sold out 90% of the space offered to exhibitors, and 85 of the world’s top 100 companies had already signed up to take part. So the 2023 edition is set to be a sell-out, to the delight of professionals and the general public, who show an impressive appetite for innovations in aeronautics and space. This year, the first four days of the Show will be reserved for professionals, followed by three days for curious visitors and enthusiasts.
Inaugurated by the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the 54th edition of the SIAE is set to break a number of records
- 125,000 m² of exhibition space, including 52,000 m² of stands, 335 chalets representing 35,000 m² of built surface area and 38,000 m² of exterior built or bare surface area;
- 140 aircraft ;
- 2,700 accredited journalists from 87 countries ;
- 304 official delegations from 98 countries and 7 international organisations ;
- 150 start-ups of 21 nationalities ;
- 140 billion dollars worth of contracts signed.
Please note: the Show’s organisers took delivery of the new Hall 3 at the Parc des Expositions de Paris – Le Bourget on 31 January 2023. This new building, which is more spacious, taller, more welcoming and above all more environmentally efficient, will be used for the first time at the 2023 edition of the SIAE, before being made available to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organising Committee to house the Main Media Centre.
SIAE 2023: practical information

- The first 4 days of the Show, from Monday 19 to Thursday 22 June 2023, are reserved for Professional Visitors. The general public has access to the Show from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 June 2023;
- Opening hours: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm ;
- Venue: Parc des Expositions de Paris – Le Bourget.
