As part of the launch of the new website Décarbonation2030, Infopro Digital Media’s research institute unveils the results of its study on decarbonization in France. Here are some exclusive key findings and figures.
Decarbonation in France, a major challenge
According to this study conducted among 400 professionals from public and private sectors, including one-third of decision-makers, companies are increasingly concerned and interested in decarbonization. However, it is difficult for all companies to integrate these new practices… Here are some key figures…
- 31% of business decision-makers now consider decarbonization a major strategic issue for their activities. Moreover, most respondents state they have already set goals to reduce CO2 emissions by 2030!
- However, some companies still struggle to integrate this issue: 32% of respondents say their company or organization wants to be more involved in decarbonization but faces difficulties (strategic choices, budgets, skills…).
- There is a strong need for information, particularly regarding available financing methods for decarbonization: 59% feel poorly informed about decarbonization financing methods, and the same percentage (59%) lacks information on knowledge sharing and skills enhancement.
- Energy efficiency solutions are prioritized, with 58% using them to implement decarbonization efforts.
