This momentum has accelerated with the emergence of new sectors such as renewable energies and the ecological transition. Factories have reopened and industrial employment has been revitalised, but the momentum has been hampered by the war in Ukraine and rising energy costs, among other factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, manufacturing&#8217;s contribution to France&#8217;s GDP is stagnating, and all stakeholders need to be mobilised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reindustrialisation-which-levers-to-activate\">Reindustrialisation: which levers to activate?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our country&#8217;s efforts to re-industrialise depend on the attractiveness of our regions, the simplification of administrative procedures, financial incentives, worker training and innovation. A number of levers can be used to this end:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-3 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"483\" height=\"482\" src=\"https:\/\/www.infopro-digital-media.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Card-evenement.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1023\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.infopro-digital-media.fr\/app\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Card-evenement.jpg 483w, https:\/\/www.infopro-digital-media.fr\/app\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Card-evenement-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.infopro-digital-media.fr\/app\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Card-evenement-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.infopro-digital-media.fr\/app\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Card-evenement-450x450.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 483px) 100vw, 483px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul>\n<li>The location of future products in France can be encouraged by business incentives such as tax credits, subsidies and administrative facilities for setting up new factories;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage the establishment of industrial companies in rural and peri-urban areas, by offering tax and financial assistance, and by improving transport and communication infrastructures;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>The development of innovative technologies and the modernisation of existing plants must be supported by public and private investment, as well as by partnerships between companies and research centres;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Worker training is a major challenge if we are to meet the needs of manufacturing, particularly in terms of digital skills. Vocational retraining programmes and appropriate initial training must be put in place;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthening cooperation between businesses, universities and research centres to encourage innovation and knowledge sharing;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthen European cooperation to develop a common industrial policy and encourage the emergence of European industrial champions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of attractiveness, local authorities are on the front line. The development of medium-sized towns is crucial to relieve congestion in metropolitan areas and attract future factories.
